Celebrating Prof. Laurence Bindoff and his work for PolG. Oslo, Norway
The Foundation was honored to be included in the all-day inaugural Laurence Conference at the National Hospital, Oslo, Norway, in celebration of the enormous contributions of Professor Laurence Bindoff to our understanding of mitochondrial biology and the mito patient experience. TPF Co-Founder, Julie de Luxembourg, and the foundation’s new CEO, Samuel Seward, each was asked to present in a session geared to the experience of people living with the PolG mutation. It was amazing to have the opportunity to contemplate the scope of Professor Bindoff’s work, stretching back twenty-five years-also extending forward in the work of his numerous protegees. Thank you, thank you Professor Bindoff!
