The PolG Foundation Board of Directors 2024 Offsite

The Foundation Board of Directors and Scientific Advisory Board had the opportunity to come together for a 2-day in-person retreat just outside of Geneva, Switzerland. It was extremely gratifying to reflect on the work of the Foundation in the preceding two years and the numerous fruits of its efforts. Among these were presentations from five of its funded investigators, each one focused on advancing knowledge in a unique area of PolG biology. TPF founders and leadership were able to hear how these varied paths of scientific inquiry intertwine and complement our understanding-directing us, with further results, towards meaningful therapies for PolG. As well, the architecture of an ambitious 10-year Development strategy was hatched. More to follow: we are thinking big! towards improving the lives of the PolG community and finding a cure.
